On 26 Asar 2079, a talk program on "Sharing Research Experiences in Computational Mathematics and its Relevance to Engineering" by Dr Thir Raj Dangal was held at Khwopa Engineering College with the initiation of the Department of Science and Humanities. Dr Thir Raj Dangal, a former faculty member of KhEC, is now an Assistant Professor at Alcon State University, Lorman, USA. College students and faculty members along with other teaching and nonteaching staff actively participated in the program with active and fruitful interaction with the presenter.
The presenter Dr Dangal in addition to presenting his research interest and research progress in Computational Mathematics in relation to engineering, shared with the audience his experiences of teaching-learning activities practised in the USA.
At the program Principal Er. Sujan Maka spoke of the significance of such talks for the academic enhancement and research collaborations at college and also proposed future collaborative efforts with Dr Dangal and his research team.
