On 3rd May 2024, the students of 2077 Batch of Department of Architecture, Khwopa Engineering College, made a site-visit to the Degutaleju Temple at Patan Durbar Square. It is the massive temple tower in Patan, having three-tiered roofs above a four storeys structure. It was originally built by King Siddhinarsingh Malla, restored by his son King Srinivas Malla and lately, reconstructed by the Rana Prime Minister Juddha Shamsher after destruction by the 1934 earthquake. Recently, it is undergoing restoration/ retrofitting. The present restoration work started from Poush 7, 2078 and is targeted to be complete by Ashar 15, 2081.
