The Department of Science and Humanities of Khwopa Engineering College was established in the year of 2005 AD. It has a strong, dedicated and hard working team of six full time faculty members and two lab technicians. Almost all have more than 10 years of experience in their respect fields. Same numbers of visiting faculties are also involved with equal dedication. It is axiomatic that basic sciences -- Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry -- courses are the foundations and backbone of technical fields. Mastery of these subjects is essential for a person to be a good engineer and architect. The other major area of study of department are Probability and Statistics, Communicative English, Sociology and Research Methodology which are essential for the Engineers and Architectures during the course of study and after graduation to enhance their ability to analyze and tackle the challenging situations, think critically, solve problems creatively, and communicate their ideas effectively.
All faculty members with full sense of commitment always encourage their students to apply the gained knowledge in the class to the respective field of engineering and Architecture ahead. The college has sufficiently well furnished and equipped laboratories of Engineering Physics and Engineering Chemistry to support and finally meet the commitment of the department.
