We would like to congratulate Mr. Jatin Bhusal, 4th year Student from the Computer Engineering Department for being selected and to lead as one of the top 7 tech students from all over Nepal for the “Seeds for the Future” Batch of 2022.
This program offers 7 undergraduate students – from any ICT-related academic background, the opportunity to join a unique learning experience around technology, innovation, and cross-cultural exchange from Aug 19 – Aug 27 in Bangkok, Thailand. During the program, the participants will:
• Learn about cutting-edge ICT knowledge and discuss hot topics face-to-face with experts.
• Receive entry-level and advanced courses on critical technologies, including 5G, cloud computing, and AI.
• Get insights from cutting-edge technology companies and international organizations, and develop an international perspective.
• Experience different cultures and make friends from around the world.
• Participate in the “Tech4Good” group project to increase social entrepreneurship, build problem-solving and leadership skills through teamwork, and deepen the sense of social responsibility.
Finally, the students have a chance to register for global competition and use their own innovations to compete with all the other
Jatin will be leading a team of 7 members from institutions like IOE Pulchowk, Kathmandu University, and Madan Bhandari Memorial College. The 7 were selected from an application of 256 students and underwent interviews and motivation letters for the selection. If the team wins the “Tech for Good” competition in Thailand, they will visit Singapore for 1 week of incubation training.
