First Session- The second day of orientation week, 16th Baisakh 2079, for the new batch of 2078 B.S. (Department of Architecture) started with the "Motivational cum Experience Sharing" session in Hall No. 2 of Khwopa Engineering College, conducted by Senior Lecturer Sushma Bajracharya in two sessions. Ar. Ashok Krishna Sainju was invited for the presentation in the first session. The presenter shared essential tips, for the fresh batch of architecture students, to excel in their architecture studies and further in their professional journey. Further, he also discussed the scopes of Architecture.
Second Session: The second session began with a presentation from alumni of khwopa engineering college – Ar. Shreejan Mushyaju (2071 batch) and Ar. Sujan Sahukhala (2069 batch) who are currently involved in professional practice. Both of them shared their experiences and journey while studying architecture along with a few architectural hacks and tips to prepare newcomers physically and mentally. They also motivated students to explore and challenge themselves to keep learning by displaying their academic and professional projects. Whether it be the winning story of the Asian Paints competition project or the partial implementation of the thesis project in real life with few more expectations vs reality experiences in the professional field, their overall impact to welcome newcomers to this school of architecture was impeccable.
The sessions concluded with the interaction between the presenters and the students. The Presenters were felicitated with a letter of appreciation for their inspirational presentation at the end of the sessions.
