Prof. Dr. Yadav Raj Koirala, Vice-Chancellor of Purbanchal University, paid a visit to Khwopa Engineering College (KhEC) on Saturday 26th Bhadra 2078 to observe the entrance examination for ME/MSc. Impressed with the arrangement for the smooth and fair conduction of the entrance examination, VC Koirala extended his best wishes for further success of the college. Prof. Koirala shared his vision and plans for the betterment of the University. Also, he paid keen interest and dedicated remarkable time to collect feedback from the college.
Special observer for the entrance examination, Prof. Devi Prashad Bhattarai, Dean of Faculty of Engineering, PU, shared the planning of the Faculty. He explained different aspects of the syllabus revision process running in the faculty.
The entrance examination was held in two shifts that day. In the first shift i.e, from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon, the entrance examination for Master of Engineering in Earthquake (ME in EQ), Master of Computer Application (MCA), Master of Science in Engineering Management (MSc in EM), Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics (MSc in N&D), and Master of Science in Agri-Business Management (MSc in ABM) were conducted. Out of 355 applicants, 318 (89.6%) appeared in the first shift of the examination.
Similarly, in the second shift i.e, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, the entrance examination for Master of Science in Urban Design and Conservation (MSc in UDC), Master of Information Technology (MIT), Master of Science in Information System Engineering (MSc in ISE), and Master of Science in Meat Technology (MSc in MT) were conducted. Out of 99 applicants, 95 (95.96%) appeared in the second shift of the examination.
Superintendent and Principal of the Khec, Er. Sujan Maka expressed gratitude to the PU for providing the opportunity to conduct the entrance examination at the college. Mr. Maka extended his vote of thanks to special observers Manoj Kumar Haluwai, Deputy-Dean, Faculty of Science and Technology, and Ajay Kumar Shah, Deputy-Controller, Office of the Examination Management, PU for their support to conduct the entrance examination smoothly. Mr. Maka acknowledged the hard work of the faculty and staff of the college for the successful conduction of the entrance examination at the college.
