A combined meeting among administrative staff from Khwopa Engineering College and Khwopa College of Engineering was held on 32 Shrawan 2078. The discussion was focused on contemporary issues of both colleges. Chairman of both colleges and Mayor, Bhaktapur Municipality, Mr. Sunil Prajapati instructed staff in his valuable speech.
Mr. Prajapati said, "College staff should focus on motivating students, from all around the nation, to serve the country and people." He added, "Every member of the college family is equally important and must be responsible accordingly. One's good behaviour adds value to the college and harms it with his/her wrongdoings. Hence, every single must strictly follow the codes of conduct of the college."
Mr. Prajapati motivated the staff of both colleges to strengthen their capacity and widen their ken of knowledge through higher education. "One can join any college/University for higher education. The college will provide necessary support for it.", he added.
Mr. Prajapati stressed that every member of the college must be aware of the vision of establishing these colleges. One should acknowledge the sacrifices of the people while laying the foundation of the colleges. He said, "The success of the graduates from the college is possible due to the roots irrigated with blood and sweat of predecessors."
Er. Sujan Maka, Principal, Khwopa Engineering College, explained that the college is in the process to run two new Masters' degree programs entitled, M.Sc. in Engineering Management and M.Sc. in Information System Engineering. He motivated staff to perform their responsibilities with high self-confidence to achieve the goals set by the colleges.
Er. Sunil Duwal, Principal, Khwopa College of Engineering, shed light on the current scenario of the academic situation in the college and Institute of Engineering. He instructed staff to provide quality service to students, especially, in this period of the pandemic.
Er. Ratna Shova Prajapati, Vice-Principal, Khwopa College of Engineering, elucidated the academic status of course completion and examination. Similarly, Mr. Rajan Jati shared his opinions representing the staff of both colleges.
A two-hour-long combined meeting of the two colleges in adjacent premises was concluded with fruitful sharing of opinions among the participants and more importantly with, as always, valued instructions and suggestions from the chairman and the respective principals.
