Khwopa Engineering College (KhEC), with the initiation of the Department of Science and Humanities, organized Oratory Competition-2080 on Jestha 05, 2080 as part of extracurricular activity. The competition was held entitled "Effects of Internet on Teaching-learning Activities" among the first semester students (Batch-2079). The number of participants in the competition was 20, representing Architecture, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Electronics, Communication and Automation Engineering programs run in the college.

The program was held in the college premises under the Chairmanship of Sr. Lecturer Arjun Kumar Gaire and in the valuable presence of Principal Er. Sujan Maka, and Vice Principal Er. Rabindra Phoju.  A panel of three jurors -- Sr. Lecturer Naba Raj Budhathoki, Sr. Lecturer Ar. Archana Bade Shrestha, and Sr. Lecturer Er. Bikash Chawal—concluded the competition with the following result:

First Position: Krishala Shrestha (Computer Engineering)

Second Position: Janaki Singh (Electronics, Communication and Automation Engineering)

Third Position: Kiran Dahal (Civil Engineering)

Consolation I: Rinchhen Lama (Civil Engineering)

Consolation II: Chandrawati Gupta (Civil Engineering)

In the program, Principal Er. Maka and Vice Principal Er. Phoju delivered their remarks, distributed prizes to the winners and presented tokens of love to the jury members. The program was run by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phanindra Prasad Bhandari.
