Faculty of Engineering, Purbanchal University successfully conducted its Entrance Examination for the academic year 2081 on 2081/05/08, attracting aspiring engineers and architects from across the nation. The examination, a key step for students seeking admission to one constituent campus and 17 affiliated colleges, was held across seven designated centers.
The examination was conducted at Purbanchal University School of Engineering (PUSOE) and Purbanchal University School of Management (PUSOM) in Biratnagar, Khwopa Engineering College and Khwopa College in Bhaktapur, Shree Medical and Technical College in Bharatpur, Model Purbanchal College in Janakpur, and Gomendra Multiple College in Jhapa. These centers facilitated the examination for seven different programs: BE in Civil Engineering, BE in Computer Engineering, BE in Electronics, Communication & Automation Engineering, BE in Electrical Engineering, BE in Biomedical Engineering, and B. Architecture.
Er. Sujan Maka, Superintendent of the Khwopa Engineering College exam center, reported that an impressive 92.59% of registered candidates participated in the examination, with 862 out of 931 applicants appearing for the test. He noted that the examination process was conducted fairly and efficiently across all centers, demonstrating the university's dedication to transparency and integrity.
Observers from various universities were present at different examination centers to oversee the proceedings, ensuring that the highest standards were maintained. Their presence contributed to the smooth and transparent conduct of the examination, further reinforcing the credibility of the process.
Dean Prof. Debi Pd. Bhattarai of the Purbanchal University Faculty of Engineering (PUFOE) expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the examination and assured that the results would be published within a week. This examination marks a crucial step for many students aspiring to join the engineering and architecture fields, setting them on the path toward their future careers.
