On 6th August 2024 (22nd Bhadra 2081) students of B. Architecture (077 batch); Ms. Jamuna Bamanu, Ms. Salsa Maharjan, Mr. Shreezan Bhandari and Mr. Sachit Giri shared their experience regarding their visit to IIT Kanpur, India. They attend the workshop for Earthquake Resistant Practices for Students of Architecture from 11th to 15th June, 2024.
The Department of Architecture's sharing programme aims to provide a platform for students to share their learning journeys from international workshops while also encouraging junior/senior and class fellows to participate in various national and international programs, as well as study multi-cultural and educational information.
During the session, students discussed their experiences with embracing in the allotted activity. They also emphasized the effectiveness of working in groups with students from all across the region as well as the benefits of attending the workshop and meeting new instructors and professors. Along with structural considerations in architectural designs, students discussed their visits to various college laboratories and infrastructures.
