On 6th August 2024 (22nd Bhadra 2081) students of B. Architecture (077 batch); Ms. Smriti Shrestha, Mr.Prajwal Panta, Mr. Shoumya Malla, Mr. Ronista Manandhar, Ms. Alisha Nakarmi and Mr. Prakash K.C shared their experience regarding their involvement in the "UNITY" study program at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, Germany.

As part of the "Unity" study program, students at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences have the opportunity to initiate, plan and implement an architectural project in an international context under the supervision of the university. In order to improve equal opportunities locally, the Anhalt university's students are supporting the "Sharada" project by constructing a new building for the elementary school in Shahipur, Bardiya, Nepal. To ensure that the pupils from Germany receive the best possible information of vernacular construction practices, locally available as well as sustainable materials and construction technology of the locality for the Sharada project , students from Khwopa Engineering College were engaged in the programme since January 2023 till date. An intercultural team is mediated by Ar. Rumi Singh Maharjan and Ar. Prana Shrestha from Nepal and facilitated by Department of Architecture, Khwopa Engineering College to work on a joint design, planning and implementation programme in Shahipur. Khwopa Engineering college aims to foster collaboration in future days to enhance on intercultural exchange and plateform for gaining skills for later professional life.
