Khwopa Engineering College had participated in the event SPACE CON 2024 as exhibitors and guest faculty representatives. Sunil Dangol and Susan Hyongoju from 8th Semester of Electronics and Communication Engineering had presented a poster presentation and exhibition about “Designing VHF eggbeater antenna for APRS weather station”. Dr. Sarbagya Budhhacharya and Er. Yogesh Bajracharya had also participated as invited guest faculties.

Space Con is Antarikchya Pratisthan Nepal’s annual flagship event which aims to bring together professionals, researchers, and students from the fields of space science, technology, and engineering to exchange knowledge, network, and showcase their research and projects. This Year, Space Con 2024 was organized on 12th April, 2024 at Square Hotel, Pulchowk. The event featured keynote speeches from eminent personalities and presentations about MUNAL Satellite and Satellite Data Analytics Project. The event also had a MUNAL Press release which included a sub-event of awarding the Junior Team of MUNAL and Participating High Schools. Along with these, the event had also invited different institutions for poster presentations and exhibitions.

It was a wonderful opportunity to not only share about college projects but also interact and network with other fellow participants. Khwopa Engineering College and Antarikchya Pratisthan Nepal have a great relationship given the Memorandum of Understanding. Former students, Er. Sajan Duwal, Er. Prem Bahadur Rana and Er. Anjali Dhami who is currently working at Antarikchya Pratisthan Nepal as Satellite Research Fellows in the upcoming Slippers 2 Sat Project.
